As mentioned above I think most at the House are happy enough with Oki's batting, calm and quite measured that it usually is, rather than bish, bash bosh, but I suspect they're looking for someone who offers a bit more threat with the ball.

Yes he is supposed to be a very good prospect and was getting excellent reviews, but he was badly injured half way through last season and sidelined unfortunately. I'm not sure of his status now. I just hope he comes back strong.

I understand why Lords was chosen to host the final as the "home of cricket" and all that, but as mentioned previously the atmosphere can be rather sterile and The Oval would have been a better (and noisier) option imo.

Handscombe has already been very, very lucky and looks like he won't last 5 minutes. If he gets runs I'll be very surprised, especially remembering he's not played in any of the previous matches so he's in a tough spot.

IF he's come very cheap in terms of transfer fee and providing we're not paying him a small fortune in wages, it makes a lot of sense, as he's more than decent back up for Taylor in a sometimes difficult to fill position. Not strengthening our starting 11, but ok business.

It's accurate, but it doesn't tell Burnley fans anything they didn't already know. I was saying on day one that teams who won the toss really should choose to bat first and generally that has proved to be the best way to winning games.
