Re: Sheff United

Does Sunderland count when we made ten changes, and considering we've ALWAYS been poor under SD in the cups, even when we finished 7th? As for playing Liverpool, how many teams are going to fair any better? Good points. Form/performance shouldn't be judged on all games, or cup games, just in games ...

Re: Brighton v Burnley - Player Ratings

I never take part in player ratings as I only see the games on TV and, whilst this doesn't rule out rating the players, I don't believe that what is seen on TV is the same as actually being at the game. What I think is really turning the player ratings thread into a farce is, more and more it seems...

Re: Brighton v Burnley - Player Ratings

As I said - it’s difficult to take you seriously when you firstly define “few” as 3 and then bring in the Sunderland game into the equation just so it fits in with your point. I read your post - not sure why you keep on saying I didn’t. We played poorly in 70 minutes of one game - a game that we st...

I'd say Sunderland, Liverpool ( very un Burnley like but its Liverpool ) , and yesterday.
But you're right, I'm sure if we continue the form like we had in those, into the next 2 games, we should pick up some points

This, sort of, exemplifies what I love about football. I read MACCAs comments and thought they are about right but a little harsh on the scoring side, then I saw CTs. We’ve played 5 games - is that not a “few” ? So what is your usual drama queen over reaction in relation to ? 70 minutes against Brighton and 60 minutes v the champions of Europe ? Does that constitute the “last few games” for you ? It’s difficult to take you seriously tbh I think 3 can be seen as ...

A game where our performance coupled with style makes us appalling to watch and if you were a neutral wondering how we are a premier league side.

This has been dreadful.

Too brittle, no leaders, no bo11ocks.

They way they fold is pathetic.

Every bowler they've brought in has our batters number, this supposedly long batting line up of ours is none existent.

Only positive is it forces changes of every level of the current set up.

Wowzers, this lot are terrible, it could be 6 or 7 already.

They're trying to "play football", but they are masters if their own downfall .

Exactly why we go to the likes of Anfield and Etihad with a game plan, because if you try to beat them at their own game, this sort of thing happens.
