Pies to ask Jimmy Mullen.
I was mental that Friday night we went.
The extra £2 or so to sit in the stand was well worth it Ivan.

Not necessarily. Beat both and give them both a 6 point deduction, we finish above and relegate Everton and Forest, all other things being equal.
We can dream. And should.
Lovin' your optimism.
Heart says I hope you're right, head says we'll fall short by whatever means.

Sheff u versus Burnley to come… we’ve been poor this season but somehow there’s a team worse. Hard to believe we both tore up the championship last year and Luton scraped into the prem but are at least making a fist of it this year. We need to beat Sheffield again, set down some sort of marker for n...

Never mind the next Nathan Tella, I’m waiting for the £100 million pound player to emerge that Vincent said was in our ranks. That comment could haunt him in a similar way to Jimmy Adamson's 'Team of the Seventies' quote. But for different reasons obviously. That said, this season does have a bit o...

I was there too that night - there weren't many Clarets fans to witness the Palace promotion party. A very comfortable 2-0 win for them in front of what is still - and likely will remain - their record attendance. If my memory is correct*, we were cheered on by a few thousand Sunderland fans hoping...

So, in brief: Season 1: Spend more than the rules allow to stay up at the expense of Club X, who are playing by the rules. Season 2: again spend more than the rules allow, this time to purchase players from the club X (such as Dwight McNeil), at reduced rate as their players wish to stay in the top...

It pretty much feels like we’ve lost the game before it starts and you wonder if the players actually feel this way too.
Despite what Kompany said today I'm thinking they're pretty sure we're down already.

For me it was the body language at the line up prior to kick off.
Palace players were bouncing around, obviously up for the challenge ahead.
The Burnley team looked like the clocking in queue for the first day back at work after Christmas.

Will ever forget the goalie following the ball into the back of the net!
Or him calling them 'Bas***ds' in the post match interview.
£7,500 fine wasn't it?

Not sure about that to be fair, I think it was more of a gradual thing as they were chasing shadows. The 5th goal though was horrific It was the most pathetic thing I've seen from us in all the Premier League matches we've played. Nieve in the extreme. Especially when the throw was taken in front o...

There’s literally loads of Burnley fans in Rochdale.
Ellen Smith's coaches used to bus them in during the 70s.

Steve Wright Saturday mornings followed by Adrian Juste in the afternoon were a big part of my pre match routine in the early 80s.
