Just a heads up, Queen Victoria Road is extra busy as you drive towards town as the road that forks right (just past Premier Inn) that leads on to Omerod Road is closed so all traffic heading towards Belvedere Road/Town centre has to queue at the traffic lights near the fire station.

Although we ultimately lost the tie, the comeback from 4-1 down against Spurs in the League Cup semi was pretty special and the atmosphere that night was unbelievable.

We have 2 seats (adult) in the JMU this season and I enquired at the ticket office last month about a ST for my 7 year old grandson as there's an empty seat next to us.

They said these are only available during the early bird period for the following seasons ST

Mate got our 2 tickets online on Saturday, looking forward to it as never been to Villa Park.

8.05 train from Burnley to Preston and (Virgin Trains permitting) in Birmingham for 11 am to take in the cultural, historical and architectural highlights of the city (or maybe just a few pubs) ;-)

The scoreline was harsh at half time but we were poor 2nd half and made it far to easy for the opposition. Never thought we would win today and it's no disgrace to lose to the current European Champions and one of the 2 best teams in our Division. Still, it's disappointing how often we gave the ball...
