Mate got our 2 tickets online on Saturday, looking forward to it as never been to Villa Park.

8.05 train from Burnley to Preston and (Virgin Trains permitting) in Birmingham for 11 am to take in the cultural, historical and architectural highlights of the city (or maybe just a few pubs) ;-)

A bit strange selecting the Party stand for your seats if you don't want to be where the party is? Didn't have a choice, someone else booked the seats . The scoreline was harsh at half time but we were poor 2nd half and made it far to easy for the opposition. Never thought we would win today and it's no disgrace to lose to the current European Champions and one of the 2 best teams in our Division. Still, it's disappointing how often we gave the ball...

Be nothing between 5 of you to drive and park, assuming it’s 5 mates and not a family. Newton Abbott is on my list for the races. Much to do? We were only there for a few hours LC so can't really say. We'd been to a wedding at a hotel in Stoneycombe the day/night before so just headed straight to the pub in NA at noon to watch the match and kill a few hours before the train back 'oop...

Kronenberg, Stella or Coors light

Aldi's Reinbacher German pilsner is ok for the odd can at home in the garden when it's BBQ time as well.
