Re: A bit of perspective (chuckles)

With some hindsight (and more prespective) the more comforting thought is that Everton could well be the anomaly. We'd done very well over the previous few games and with a bit more luck could have easily picked up a point against Liverpool, Spurs and Arsenal. Going into the Everton game we'd been p...

Agree Pommie, although I do think Wood was offside too much today, I also thought he had a very good game and performed much better than Barnes. Personally I don't mind him walking a line like that - sooner or latr he will be on and it always gives defences more to worry about than smoeone playing ...

What Lancaster said. I just did s fsirly pessimistic prediction of points to the end of the season and came up with 33 (2 wins and 6 draws) which im my thinking makes it tight. Re: Burnley v Barnsley - Player Ratings

Surprised by the high marks on here today. That was a pretty dull and pedestrian performance and only the fact that we were playing a team from 2 tiers down at home meant we were in any way 'comfortable'. Fair play to Barnsely as they worked hard and did try and pass the ball around. The game looked...

The first pen was so soft it was embarrasing. It looked easier for him to control the ball and try a shot. I was furious he went down and couldnt believe the ref gave it.

I will be amazed if Vydra starts many games. He's not impressed me at all.

Yeah but we had a lot of folks replaced or out of position. Once the shape was more balanced we looked better.

Barnsley worked hard but ultimately aside from a couple of free kicks cheaply conceded late on they created nothing.

We created 2 or 3 good chnaces but our woodentops up front fluffed them
