Today I had the last of my 37 radiotherapy sessions at the Rosemere Cancer Centre at Royal Preston Hospital. It has seemed a long time since my first visit on the 23rd of January but at last it is over. Now an anxious 6 weeks wait until my next PSA blood test to see if it has all been worthwhile. Sa...

Gordaleman...agree with everything you say regarding the Rosemere cancer centre.An absolutely fantastic place.so professional and caring.And the free brews are a bonus lol.

Been driving to Royal Preston from Burnley for the past 32 week day mornings for radiotherapy.only 5 more to go next week and then I can ring the bell.Fingers crossed the treatment has been successful.
Anxious 6 week wait then for a PSA blood test result.

I certainly hope that the club are busy installing a lot more sinks with a plentiful supply of hot water.Dread to think of the germs floating around at half time in the bogs when very few people wash their hands after having a pee ,then go straight to the kiosks to buy a pie or hot dog.

Lennon is a decent player.albeit getting towards the end of his career.. players needs to be given a decent run in the side before you see them at their best. Would certainly give him a one year contract in the summer.

I am driving to Preston hospital every weekday for 2 months at 6am every morning........it is a nightmare drive in the dark.Drivers are exceeding well over the speed limit and quite frankly it is scary at times.

I was a lad of 16 and stood at the cricket field end that night we played Hamburg, packed in like sardines.What a memorable night Pilky's goals stand out in my memory.How they managed to play good football on those pitches beggars belief. Think Areta may have had a few complaints.ha ha.

I sympathise with your dilemma....I really do not know what the answer is to this situation.
You can to some extent understand the care homes situation as they are running essentially a business, but surely the government has to recompense the care homes in situations like your Aunts.
