It was probably a little bit complacent putting him on at 2-0 thinking we were cruising to victory.

That said Kompany saw that he was completely unsuited to the situation once the game changed and to his credit he wasn't afraid to hook him.

This season has been a write-off for a while now, but he has to be given the opportunity to put things right next season.

That said if the first 12 games or so don't go well I think he'll be under serious pressure.
