They never have rearranged second XI fixtures, even in the days when replays of 1st XI fixtures happened regularly. (There is usually space in the 3rd XI if they want extra games!)
They do now.
As expected both first and second team games from the first two weeks are rearranged.

It could be possible that people only collapsed around him at football grounds in the last 50 years I suppose.
Unlucky fella.

You do realise those are cases that he’d seen, not every single one?
It also explains the difference in how they are treated now.
But as it states, Evidence rarely stops scare stories.

Then not long after we had games being stopped every week for ‘medical emergencies’. We were told that this was normal but the media just report this now. This should have been enough to make people think, but no. https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/fans-medical-emergeny-stadiums-fulham-b2...

It’s crazy to think that just mere decades ago before airplanes became commonplace the UK had a similar climate to Australia.
But you won’t get anyone talking about that on the main stream media.

No coincidence that during Covid there was no planes in the sky and it was absolutely glorious for weeks on end.
All through Covid or just a few weeks at the start?

Seem to be seeing this more and more, players wanting penalties rather than just trying to score.
Saka and Jota come to mind.

At least I missed that. I wasn’t officially inside the ground today, my ticket was never scanned. The steward who took me from the medical centre to my seat said he should have taken me back out to come in but said to just go to my seat. He’ll be out of the job soon if he carries on using common se...

Okay, Bordeauxclaret, but are we not allowed to boo players? That's existed for as long as I can remember and I'm 62. God, I lived through the Auschwitz Song, Munich Song etc etc period, bananas thrown at black players. Thankfully that's gone. Yes, there are instances of racism, antisemitism etc an...

Friday night, first fixture Pompey v Clarets on Sky
I did think last night that this fixture has opening night written all over it.

Bad night for English clubs all round. Villa cough 1 up after 2-0 lead. L’pool stuffed. WHU defended stoutly for 82 mins then conceded 2 from corners to make next week very difficult. If they all go out I think that will be the end of ManUres dreams of sneaking into the CL with a 6th place finish. ...

Nori/Grumps/Longsidelenny etc etc have always approached trolling from different angles. It’s a full time job for them to manage so many different personalities.
I thought it was cutsy/4midable to be honest.

Interesting the ref didn’t give Munich a penalty at the other end as he described it as a “kids mistake” apparently.

There'll be no problem rearranging the second division fixtures. They have plenty of spare dates. The first division have more of a problem because of clashes with the Lancashire Cup. Possibly their best option might be to play on a couple of Bank Holiday Mondays, which are normally reserved for 3r...

Absolutely. Whenever I see this posters name there inevitably follows some really bizarre cherry picked statistics that bear little relevance to what we have seen all season. Omitting goals conceded from set pieces to suggest we aren’t defensively brittle is a new one though. I’m glad it’s not just...

Sides are aware now that going down after any touch is likely to be given as a foul by these horrific referees.
That’s why there has been a sharp rise in the cheating.

I thought these were the accounts covering the financial year ending July 31, 2023? Watt's involvement was announced in May 2023 - within that financial year. Or am I missing something here? I think they are saying there was another payment, albeit smaller, on the previous years accounts before he ...

Taylor is fine defensively but we again saw why he wasn’t deemed good enough to play left back in this set up last season.
Slow and ponderous in possession and his crossing more often than not is awful.
