Was that because of the company.... or the cricket ;-) Hope you're all well down there in the Sunshine. We are all fine thanks Dan. More wet than sunny ! The company was good especially as he paid for lunch. However, we were badly let down by our batting superstars who are obviously so used to play...

Re: ARTICLE: Kilby on Board
Barry Kilby's input and resources rescued and revitalised BFC at an extremely difficult time. Ownership of Turf Moor and Gawthorpe was reestablished and the basis for Wembley 2009 was created. During the Kilby era "the ranch was never gambled". However, under less judicious ownership the ranch is no...

Re: Walking in the Yorkshire Dales (favourite routes)
Thank you John for this great posting and the wonderful photographs. The route is a little too long for us, however, we intend to walk a shorter 5 miles Halton Gill circular route. One of our favourite walks is a Burnsall round trip taking in Grassington and Hebden, a 7 miles circular. Last week we ...

I’d be interested to know the correlation between people blaming the previous owner for our current situation and the people that wanted him out of the club. In my opinion he was driven out of the club by fans expecting us to spend unsustainably each transfer window. The best way to sell the club w...

Good to hear that Stephen Ward is now back in full training, who is such a key player for the Clarets. In fact I don't think we have won a league game since his last appearance.

It is essential to have the problem identified at the early stages, as in my case. Even with the unfortunate cut-backs in most NHS budgets cancer issues are acted upon quickly. It is mystifying how new signings are continually questioned by supporters. Certainly my player of the season. His performances have been of the highest quality since he became a regular in the side in January 2016. A great Dyche signing.
In my opinion he is one of the most capable and dependable left backs I have seen play for Burnley, only out ranked by Elder and Newton.
