Re: A Lovely Story from Leeds (of all places).
There’s quite a bit of development going on in Bradford at the moment and more in the pipeline - much of it seems like a treating a gaping wound with a sticking plaster, unless they address some of the deeper rooted problems. Sounds like you are describing Blackpool and quite a few other former boo...

To get back on track, Burnley football club do not have a lower age limit according to their safeguarding policy.
Have a look at this document and maybe email the head of safeguarding?

Re: Padiham FC
I would suggest £250 a week would be deemed a high wage in the semi professional game up north. It is but this was at National League South level, so relatively high levels of non-league. Some of the higher paid players in the league at better financially backed clubs (such as Ebbsfleet from memory...

I used to be quite involved in the running of an unnamed semi-professional club who play in National League South. It's not only money that players move for at that level. I think the pretense of the shirt was the amount of older players we had at the time. Certainly my favourite Claretsmad/UTC t-shirt over the years.

Gifton Noel-Williams. As someone who started watching Burnley in 2001 onwards, he was the first player i remember people slaughtering when i personally (from a possibly new pair of claret tinted spectacles) thought he was half decent.

Truro is literally in the middle of nowhere so not a surprise they have a bit of trip to play in a decent(ish) ground. Giggs was a very good player, part of a very good team. To get in to one of these best elevens or world class elevens, you have to play and be influential at the very top. You could say Giggs was a better Premier league player than Bale, but Bale stood out in champions league finals and winning the...

Re: Greatest World XI to have played in the Premier League at Turf Moor
At the time, Giggs was electric running down the wing. He stood out with his assists and some goals. But he only got 13 and 11 prem goals once, the rest he didn't make double figures. Today, all the players are as fast as he was and the wide players score far more goals. He never had the chance to ...

Re: Should we be shilling a crypto card product when we can't promote our own Season Cards?
Anyone able to tell me what is wrong with the product? You add funds to the card that they then invest in crypto and give a kickback to the club?
Or is it a scam?
I have no actual interest myself but I know some will even if just to have a Burnley branded card.

I still find it hard to believe Derby were as bad as they were in their infamous record breaking season in the Premier League. Whether Muric or Trafford are in goal, they will always find distribution difficult if the 10 players in front of them are static and not moving to create options for them, whether that’s for a short pass or long ball into the channels.

Wasn’t there something on some football finance podcast that the average payout was £2.5m and average paid to take someone from another club was £3m? If I’ve made that up I do not know why those figures are in my head.
