The emergence of Dwight McNeil as a Premier League player of quality. I always find it extremely satisfying to see a youngster come through the ranks and make the grade. Let's have some more!

Survival.
Drove past a load of Cardiff coaches on the way home down the M6 and couldn't help but reflect that I felt so much happier after watching my team lose, than they were having won at MUFC.
It's a funny old game :o

From yesterdays match programme. The last word was an article about Doug Collins. The caption under his photo says that it is of him in action at Wembley during the Charity shield win over City. The match was played at Maine Road. I should know because I was there ;)

Random observations from today

Just a few things. City coaches: I got stuck behind a few that exited the 65 at junction 10. A bit strange because they normally leave at 9 and I had noticed that the Police were waiting for them at 9. Obviously a breakdown in comms somewhere. I note that there was an increased Police presence aroun...

It was all to do with stuff being thrown onto the pitch. I remember one goalie at the Cricket Field end being pelted with all sorts of nasty objects including a snooker ball. It might have been a match with Leeds which was always nasty.
