I stayed at the Marriott on Mai Khao (I think that's the right spelling) last year. Absolutely stunning beach. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for. It's north of the airport so nowhere near the lunacy of Phuket. Lovely relaxing holiday. Emirates from Manchester to Dubai and then onto Phuket. I...

From my vantage point in the JHU the amount of space in the middle of the park that Liverpool had was very apparent. When we attacked our defence did not move forward, obviously on SD instructions due to pace of Salah & Mane, thus the wide open spaces appeared. That's where we needed the extra b...

Kept his cards in his pocket which was sensible. It wasn't a dirty game so not too difficult to control. The big team won so no controversy for him.

Odd this one but probably Chelsea 2 Leeds 1 FA Cup Final 1970. I'd seen the Clarets lose a 4th round replay 1-3 against Chelsea at the Turf where Coates was sensational, and where John Collins had kicked lumps out of him all night, eventually wearing him down. I'd no love for Chelsea then....but th...

My good friend Woodley has been to far more than me but I reckon I must have been to at least 700.
