Still baffled at Strachan's decision not to pick Arfield, when you look at the pool of 'talent' he had to choose from. He's the exact type of player and temperament their fans love, as the Rangers fans are now seeing.

We were doing OK under Heath (Ward) that season. Surprised to see Glen starting at number 7, I thought he barely played until his breakthrough in the Waddle season, the year after.

I found I was getting loads from the same few companies. I'd block the number but they'd just use another. So, I just started wasting their time - giving them fake info, playing sound boards down the phone to them etc. They soon gave up.

Ings definitely had two knee injuries with us but I'm not sure which, if either, were ACLs. The lad has glass knees, we were so lucky to have a fit Danny Ings when we did.

We seem to have had more than our fair share of ACLs down the years (Duff, Barnes and Vokes to name a few) and each time it takes around a couple of years for us to see the best of them again. They come back after a year or so but then suffer the usual niggles which come after these sorts of injurie...

As far as I can tell, the football league want them to prove they can go on financially. This won't happen until the owner sells, which he won't do until he receives what he believes to be a suitable offer (he's just rejected one).

I once found a rooftop bar in Barcelona which served San Miguel and it was by far the best lager I'd ever tasted. Burnley 1 - 0 Manchester United

Probably my favourite night as a Burnley fan. That goal, than penalty save, that atmosphere. Seeing my small town team not only compete against Premier League superstars like Rooney and Giggs, but beat them. I never thought I'd see the day.

Update, if anybody cares: Decided to get a new battery and new crack-free rear glass for my existing S8 using www.wefix.co.uk (amazing service) and dropped down to a SIM only contract - £15 a month for 20GB data and unlimited texts and minutes with EE.

Best place to buy a phone outright?

My contract comes to end soon and I'm looking to go sim only, putting a new phone on an interest free credit card. I thought you could buy phones outright from the networks but that doesn't seem to be the case. Would the best place be Amazon/Ebay? Or can anyone recommend another site?

Looks like a bad one this weekend with rain and strong winds. High sided vehicles such as caravans and lorries shouldn't travel unless absolutely necessary apparently Could this affect our game I wonder? It's a long way for coaches to travel up from Southampton.

Left footed centre halves are at a premium so there's a chance they'll have played at the left side all their life. Right footers on the other hand (foot) will have filled in at the left side much more so have better experience of playing at the 'wrong' side.
