I'm not sure his appointment was ever as desperate as it seemed - we'd approached Sheff Weds for permission to speak to him prior to appointing Coyle, so we'd obviously had our eye on him anyway.

The needless offside's issue is still there. Being offside when the backline hits a channel so many times is so poor. The reason he is offside so much is the same reason he scores so many. He has no pace so plays on the shoulder of the last defender, like with yesterday's goal. If he didn't do that...

It seems like you're assuming it would be easier without looking into it. And even if it was, a bit of hassle might be worth it. I missed a vital fact out in that I'm looking to borrow a chunk more for a kitchen renovation (which would bring the LTV up to 85% from 71%) and it seems easier to do this with the current lender than a new one.
