Re: West Ham v Burnley - Player Ratings

I'd be tempted to bring Cork back and move Brownhill out to the right again. Not convinced by JBG or Brady playing out there. I can't see any place for Brownhill anywhere, bar the odd block he offers little and looks out of his depth. We need to get Cork firing as I don't see us bringing anyone in ...

I have to agree with remarks made about Westwood and Brownhill. Westwood is having a poor season and Brownhill is not good enough at this level, apart from putting in blocks he offers little.

The whole club seems content with going down now. From top to bottom. I don’t understand it myself, I would think being in the top league and thus getting the highest income would be imperative, but I am not a Businessman. Best pint I ever had of it was in London in a pub near embankment station. It was like magic. Love it when you find a magic pint in a pub ... something that just seems leagues above any beer you’ve had before. They used to sell a good pint in the coal hole on the Strand. We will soon see if Garlick has sold us a pup with the Yanks. This club is desperate for investment on the playing side, if we don't make a marque signing this window the future does not bode well

I’m not sure that I’d say they don’t have the ability or the legs. I’d say that they were really poor today though and we’ve a central midfield that needs improving. Cork is by no means perfect but he’s been missed hugely. Westwood isn't the same player without Cork and I am afraid Brownhill is jus...

Most clubs outside the top two leagues find the competition a nuisance that gets in the way of their league campaigns, thus their reasons for feilding weakened sides

Barnes as done OK since he got back from injury and as weighed in with a couple of goals. Wood needs to grow a pair, he is walking about with his head down at the moment feeling sorry for himself.
