The most incredible thing is, ten years after the ten years ahead comment - Bolton and Barrow will be playing against each other, in the league! Remarkable. I suspect they'd be many more when you go back a few decades, players were more likely to be signed from lower league Clubs, rather than abroad, and then tending to keep playing whilst slipping down the Leagues towards the end of their career ...
