Re: So do you drop Muric after two massive costly howlers?
I think a last chance is sensible, there is enough support for him still. If Trafford came back in now. he would suffer from the clowns that like to shout abuse at him. I think either way Trafford will be the starting keeper the first game of next season. I think it’s pretty clear why teams weren’t ...

Re: So do you drop Muric after two massive costly howlers?
Cost us more in the space of a week than Trafford has all season. I had worries about him last season but we were so dominant he wasn’t exposed to any great degree. It’s a difficult call now because do you bring Trafford back in and potentially shatter Muric’s confidence? (that will take some coming...

Re: Toffees vs Clarets Match Thread
Muric DID NOT cost us the game today. It was serious bad luck that the ball ended up in the net. 99 times out of 100 that does not go in. Muric is expected to play in that manner, I would and will argue that others in the back line didn't find enough space in time for Muric to make the pass in time...

Our discipline has been pretty poor this season. Under Dyche we had six premier league red cards throughout his tenure and we’re talking games into the hundreds. This is definitely an area we should look to improve in True but I’d attribute a lot of this to the age demographic of Kompany’s squad vs...

If you take Odobert in isolation and look at a 19 year old who started off the season as a squad player and has now matured enough to play as he did last night then you have to praise him. Strongest 11
If the entire squad is fit what is our best 11? I don’t think that was a million miles off tonight.
I’d go with:
Muric
Vitinho, Esteve, O’Shea, Assignon (very close though with Taylor)
Cullen, Berge
Bruun Larsen, Odobert, Koleosho
Foster

It was very much a lifting away day. But it was the non-Kompany signings that saw the day out for us. And also the forced correction of his starting line up to steady us. I’ve said for a while Trafford had been scapegoated. I think these ratings back that theory up.
With the treatment he’s received this season you’d expect him to be rock bottom. Should have been taken out of the firing line by Kompany some time ago.
