That's not true, the League Cup winners go into the second qualifying round. We took the League Cup slot in 17/18 by virtue of Man City qualifying for the Champions League.

I was pleasantly surprised by the finale, having read much of the criticism today. Nowhere near as bad as people are making out and I was fairly satisfied with the ending.

The rest of this season has been terrible though.
