Re: Steve Bruce - BBC reporting he has resigned from Sheff Wed

Its really poor form from Bruce - once again. No doubt he'll come out and say managing his boyhood club was a 'once in a lifetime' opportunity that was 'too good to turn down'. I'm sure he 'stood on the Gallowgate as a little boy' and 'he's not getting any younger' but reality might kick in if he al...

I will always be grateful for seeing his incredibly angled cushioned header out to the left wing on his home debut against Southampton.

It really was a thing of beauty.

Good luck Crouchy. At least he retired at the top ;)

Quite striking how much mental fragility was in that 2005 team. Harmison, Tresco, Giles, Jones all suffer(ed) especially with depression. It sounds like Vaughan’s mind was scrambled too. Remarkable they pulled it off really. I went to day 5 at old Trafford and the oval to see us bring it home. I loo...

Adams and Ings- if the latter stays fit then that strikes me as an excellent strike force that will cause team’s problems next season. Bit gutted about Adams, he was so good when he first burst onto the scene with Sheff U and has recovered after a wobble...I see him having a Troy Deeney style impact...

I think there’s a few conveniently playing down Jay’s strengths for whatever reason. Jay can lead the line in a 4-5-1 with more finesse than either Barnes or Wood. He is generally a more versatile player and better footballer than both. I think he’d be a really good option but also believe it was al...
