Re: January Transfer Window Discussion - Rumours and Links welcome
King for Vydra makes sense - the clubs would be simply exchanging their no. 27s Maybe £5m on top ? King's stats are impressive - pretty much a 3 goals per start forward (for club and country) who can play anywhere across the front line. His versatility and pace make him a little more useful than Vyd...

I thought Jay Rod should play tonight, our scoring record and recent performances did suggest a change might be an idea, but I'd never get angry about it if SD sees it differently, he's the manager after all and all the players deserve our 100 per cent support. As said up the thread, Dyche (and the ...

I'd just like to see Jay Rod back in for Barnes and McNeil of course on the left, with Brady on the right. If Cork was fit enough I'd have him replace Brownhill for this fixture but I'm not sure he's match fit enough to face Liverpool. I hope to god Taylor is ready, we've really missed him. This wou...

Wowzers. Some really angry people on here - possibly feeling the effects of lockdown? West Ham have been very good this season. And this really was a game of fine margins. I’m frustrated but the first touch of all 4 of our strikers was lacking today as was the service into the box. McNeil was excell...

Don’t think Everton fans had much positive to say about Keane when he had a slump in form too ? If I remember rightly Kenny had a bit of a run of games under Allardyce. On Twitter running with the headline that he thinks footballers should be vaccinated.
Lots of angry responses from people who clearly haven’t gathered the context which he reiterated many times in the full interview. Shame, as he made some good points.

Part of the problem here is that the striking department probably hasn’t been a priority for us over the past few windows. We have good competition for places and 4 lads (or 3 1/2 ;) who have all proved capable at PL level. Compare that with some of our rivals. Perhaps SD feels It’s the supply chain...

I remember a Birmingham winger having a blinder in the midweek milk cup tie in 1983. Ian Handysides. They came back from 2-0 to pull level then we won 3-2. The season we reached the semi finals.

Lundstrum arguably quicker than Westwood / Cork - but there’s certainly no evidence of him being ‘stronger’ or indeed an improvement on either of those two. It’s definitely strikes a patronising tone towards Sean Dyche. I’d like to think that this opportunity is what Dyche needs to show the world how could he can be as a manager. It’s a tricky one. Newcastle play defensively with organisation and strength but they got ripped apart.
I think the Wolves game was a good template. Leeds tend to start like a house on fire and it will be a case of keeping them out and growing into the game. I’m going for a 1-0 win.
