Re: Football365 - The worst PL XI of the season so far.

Just found the article. Apparently it takes into account certain stats depending on their position and then uses an algorithm to produce a score for each player. It’s particularly a strange one because last season Woods goals per minute ratio was something like the 4th or 5th best in the league, am...

Can’t myself to be too arsed at a Cardiff win. They’ve had a rough deal and I’ve said all along that the sad situation with Sala will act as a motivating factor, Warnock will insist. Still a lot of work to be done.

You can see why Dyche would deny anything else was likely at his press conference. Having been gazumped at the last minute before it’s better tactic to appear unbothered. Hard to believe there isn’t a price that they’ll take for Adams - might take the player to push the move through.

So £50m profit from two successive PL seasons? . It’s not really that much is it. You could soon whittle it away with two £15-£18 m signings plus wages that might not work out too well. Then you’d have ‘no’ profit.

It shows how far we’ve come that folks are ‘underwhelmed’ by a player who has more than 100 caps for a decorated Chile team who have twice been crowned ‘Copa America’ Champions. After Cardiff, he featured regularly for 3 seasons for Inter in Serie A. A fit, more robust version of Defour perhaps.

I think he'd suit our system very well, a rumbustious and energetic different type of no. 10, good first line of defence and capable of making life uncomfortable for defenders.

That said, age is not on his side, would be a more effective version of Jon Walters.

Although left-footed, seems to do his damage from the right flank. Would be really exciting to see him and NcNeill on opposite wings.
