It has enabled the same terminology to be used across all age and gender groups, like I’ve explained. So an 8 year old girl who is awarded player of the match for her local youth team, in her mind, can treat that with the same gravitas as Messi winning player of the match in the World Cup final. Asking for a couple of clean sheets and getting ourselves organised defensively should be the least we are entitled to expect before the end of the season.
Scoring goals and winning games would probably be setting the bar a bit too high.

If this match carries on in the same trajectory both Burnley and Sheffield United will have been ‘nilled’ by Arsenal with neither home team managing to have a shot on target.
Both teams guilty of shambolic defending and toothless in attack as the table can verify.

The bottom line is, we can't afford a GK who regularly lets his first shot on target in.

Yesterday, Arsenal, Liverpool, Everton, City to name a few.
We need far better.
As the second lowest scoring team in the PL we need far better players in the attacking third of the field as well.

Or, the inept attackers with the team scoring less than a goal a game. Concede one goal and the likelihood is we ain’t going to win the game.
