Re: Pompey
Is the ground still a hotch potch and something of a mess? I know when they were in the PL and doing ok, they were trying to either develop it or build new and move because it holds 20,000 or thereabouts and is regularly full and they could get considerably more if they had the room. I think it was...

I still don't have the answer... As far as I recall the grovelling political knee bend hasn't been used this season until today.... what triggered today's display? Is it OJ's death?

I think he/they said they was booing it because they don't agree with the nonsense. If somebody feels that something is nonsensical then they should probably have the right to express their opinion in a non violent manner. I suppose if it was a more organised form of non agreeance a group of people ...

Re: Booing the knee
so.... was it actually for OJ? I remember the trial back then but I really thought he was guilty until he struggled to get his hand in the glove and proved it wasn't him. Maybe we should've all brought a tight glove with us to wave in the air during the knee ceremony.

I like to think that, even though I’m growing old disgracefully, I have gone beyond hating a football club. Rivalry is good and a bit of banter is great but I think I have now stopped hating any club. Sure I don’t want Rovers to win or do well but my days of wishing nothing but ill on them are well...

Well. firstly I hope the diagnosis is wrong (unless it it transpires that it is something worse), but on the positive side Steven Hawking was diagnosed in 1962 with motor neurone and given 6 months to live. 64 years later he died of something else. I wish you well and please take care.

Wow, the bind moggles!
This took me back to when we paid 1m for Ian Moore and I thought "oh gosh, that's a lot of money, it's more than I earn in a month!!" That must've felt like £20m for Stockport in 2001 for a striker who "worked his socks off" but didn't score many goals.

I didn't even know supporters clubs were still a thing. I miss the days when Beeky's Colne Clarets would regularly take four or five coaches on a pub crawl somewhere and end up at a football stadium. them were't days.

While he was here he had to feed on scraps in a boring, boring set up. Those scraps dried up towords the end.
A boring job makes one lose enthusiasm. Everton fans are noticing the same lack of enthusiasm in their team.

I seriously have to question whether this game is about football any more - it seems as if everything that happens on the pitch is second to what is supposed to happen at the end of the season. Cheats - the longer it goes on the more obvious it is.
