You say you paid by debit card. Was it a visa debit card? If so contact your bank. Visa debit cards are covered by similar rules to credit cards.

Google 'Visa Chargeback' as they have gone bust it should be quite a simple process.

I heard a recent story of an NHS worker who was earning around 60k per year who was offered a redundancy package as cost savings were required.
