Re: If we have to sell...

If Lampard comes calling for Tarks - I don't think he would go given his preference to be in the NW. I'm sure I have read on here before that we have a substantial buy out clause for any NW club; which if true, would indicate the knowledge of his preference to be up here. Going to Chelsea would offe...

Re: Vydra or Wood

I prefer the style of football that we play when Vydra is on. The stats may tell otherwise but it just feels we play more on the floor and focus playing to feet. Don't get me wrong though, I think there is a time and place where either is likely to be more effective so rotation and substitutions are...

Cutting VAT allows the hotel and other hospitality sector to reduce their prices. This is why it's complicated Rowls. You cut VAT and yes the lowest earners benefit and remember council tax is also part of what drives the tax paid more disproportionate. The government want to do something that has the purpose of stimulating the economy. When you look at where the lowest-earners s...

Re: Every adult to be given £500 voucher

It's not that simple though - They tried that in 2008 when they reduced the then 17.5% VAT rate to 15% which nobody seems to be able to agree on how much of a difference that made. So if you take something that costs £48 now - that would be £40 plus VAT. If you reduced that down to 15% then it would...

Interesting concept. There has been calls to reduce VAT - this doesn't necessarily help people on the lowest incomes through what they spend their money on. There have been calls to provide stimulus payments like the US but as the report alludes to, it will not guarantee a boost to the economy This ...

Furlough scheme is only a max of £2500 a month..

That's probably like not even 0.5 days of work for them in the first team.

Regardless - Why should the tax payer pick up their salaries if the club can afford to pay them and not furlough them?
