Re: Joey on his time at Burnley

I'll never forget his performance against Karanka's Boro after we went behind in that crucial top of the table clash. He simply drove us on to rescue a point against a side who never conceded. He was everywhere, popping up at right back, up front and back in midfield. Somehow Dyche got the absolute...

If they want £50m for Longstaff then they can cough up the same for McNeil.

And that’s if he’d even go there which is probably a backwards step right now anyway. Not happening.

Miles better from Plunkett, hopefully the other England bowlers follow suit.

Stokes must have an injury but seems to be running round the outfield ok? Would have thought he might suit this pitch.

Someone like James McCarthy could be a good shout? Not the biggest but he can more than hold his own on the pitch. He has lost his way a little bit especially after an awkward injury but seems to be back fully fit - just out of favour. So much so, a bid of £10m is supposedly enough to secure him. h...

Will be very sad to see Tom leave but its excellent business for the club and we have an England international in Pope ready to step in.

Pope was outstanding for us that season and the dominance of his area relieved a lot of pressure on the defence.

Re: Strong looking squad

If we sell Heaton for circa £10m, then a £15-20m purchase of Bowen is a net £5-10m spend.

Bowen fits the mould for us under Dyche and would be an excellent addition.

This allows room for another big ish (£10-15m) spend on a centre mid too.

It would be an outstanding window if this maps out.
