Re: How can we hold our key players in our squad for next season /

I doubt anybody basic salary will be close to £100k a week, but factoring in bonuses for wins, goals, high final position in the league, staying up etc will probably put some players yearly earnings near that £5m mark If we started offering players a basic salary of £100k a week no doubt they would ...

The way he brought the ball down in that game v Hull, killed the ball and dropped two Hull players in his tracks in One spin, then he raced to the other end and blasted it home was just unbelievable. Nobody is calling him Messi but that touch was absolutely top drawer.

Surely it had to be done for everyone not just these two leagues? Championship clubs will just be able to gazump the best players in L1 and L2.

It's putting these clubs at a significant disadvantage.

It's successful in the US because there is no relegation and these are franchises not clubs.

Bars, restaurants, pubs and gyms to stay open according to the local MP.

So guess you can have a beer and kick about by yourself at said locations
It's a place where people go to play football, and it's staying open. How can that be safer than being at the house of a neighbour?

Pope made 112 saves (5th)
Ederson made 65 (2nd fewest)

Pope has definitely had to do more to earn those clean sheets. That being said Ederson is a class keeper. It's nice to have Pope in that company!
