Re: Match Day Thread: Fulham vs Burnley
Perfectly executed third: deep cross - Matej's nicely cushioned header to Jay in the danger area, superbly controlled by Jay, great anticipation by Longy: that's the style.

Vyds seldom gets caught offside as he's can sit a little deeper on the defender's shoulder, but Jay has a great header on him, superb finish.

It was a bloody awful shot. Imagine the reaction if Wood did that.
Let's see Wood score from there on his weaker foot... you'll be in for a long wait.

It might just be my difficulty in understanding the accent but every time I meet someone from Yorkshire they're always very quick to announce that they're from Yorkshire, Dog Owners Country... well, something like that.

Positives:
Mostly solid at the back but that's a poor goal to give away; Robbie if you're going to track back to defend then great, but don't just stand there trying to look useful.
It's only one.

Dande, the supposedly very good chance against MKD: he's at a narrowing angle, defenders closing in to prevent him moving inside to a better angle and the keeper is perfectly positioned at his near post. Vydra bangs it (on target) hoping for a nutmeg through the keeper but it doesn't come off. And i...

City conceded 28% possession to Leicester the other day, who promptly scored five. Usually when we play City we have around 28% of the possession too, so I really fancy us to score a few tonight.
Unfortunately I'm also expecting them to score a few more than we do.

Good player but wish he could pick it up at halfway line, turn on a sixpence, beat 8 men and smash into the top corner more than he does. Re: Norwho? Versus MIGHTY CLARETS
Vydra's an unusual striker in that he's more creative than predatory. And maybe his real value to the side is his ability to see and create openings for other players: he consistently shows good awareness of where colleagues are likely to be and finds them with quick, well weighted touches. ( E.g. t...
