Re: NHS Gambling Addict Clinics

There's a 15% duty levied on gambling companies' earnings. Many gaming / gambling companies are based in Gibraltar, and other overseas tax havens; so I think it's very unlikely they stump up their proper share of taxes. This could surely be increased to even 16/17% and it’d cover what the NHS needs...

Just to play devils advocate .... could it be that the taxes paid on alcohol, smoking and even food go towards the NHS .... I haven’t looked into how much tax is paid by betting firms which would be interesting.

Maybe increase the tax a bit to help fund it if need be?

Got to pay for the Stadium somehow - now an estimated £1.3bn more than twice the original projections - I fully expect that it will bring in over £100m in revenue a season, joining Arsenal and Man Utd in that particular club and with it's additional features and facilities could bring in more than ...

What I do find with this is that when the crimes do come about they are usually historic crimes. This doesn’t make them any less vile but then the resident racists think that the things happening in a community 20+ years ago have not moved on and start shouting “but the pak|s all do it!!”. Has the odd mistake in him but same could be said about 95% of “world class” defenders.

He seems to play even better for a while though after his blips which is one of his strengths for me.

Jean-Louis Valois was a big game player. Performed well in cup games and when we were on tele. He had flair - but nothing much else. Scored some good goals though Some of the balls he would ping about effortlessly would be a dream come true for how we play now. A flair player who loved to pop up in...

Niece got one from BandM that was about £7/10 and is small but loud enough for the job. At that price you’re not bothered about losing/breaking it and they have a few different Bluetooth ones available. Have a pop in and see what you like. Failing that, i’m sure even bloody Poundland has some in now.
