Help on Deleting Account
Just wondering if anyone can explain how I can delete my account from the site. I've looked at the FAQs etc and can't see anything and have mailed the administrator twice but without reply. The transfer rumour thread has been the final straw. I just can't stand it and rather than continually get ann...

More rules made up for the television. Refs couldn't get it right when the laws were simple so god only knows how they expect them to judge this in a split second on the pitch. Sadly getting to a position where things rely more and more on VAR.

That team absolutely walks that league IMO. Why do people write in that manner on message boards? It's everywhere you look. That team "should walk" or "will walk" that league! If you said "John walks to the shops" it's an indication of something that he already does. So it's like using the present ...

The question is what do you throw together from the fridge or cupboard, I love dry rated peanuts and pork scratchings but they are from a bag etc. I sometimes fry a load of bacon from the butchers, dice it and have it on home made melba toast, delicious. Apologies, didn't get the gist of the rules....

Classic social media when someone can't raise a question on a sensitive subject without being shouted down. It was a perfectly valid point to raise on a football message board. Just because something is sensitive doesn't mean someone can't question things.

Never mentioned anything about it stopping players being sold, just that it was something to consider. Not quite sure why you're being so jumpy about it, it's not particularly controversial. Clubs spending a lot of money will want to understand the situation of a player they are purchasing. I'm not ...

The club knew about it at time of purchase. The club have decided that he's worth signing and will ensure he's ok. Absolutely fine with that. My initial question was whether they knew about it. It might be. Not saying it's right but depression is an illness and a nasty one. Not arguing anything other. Football is a cut throat business. Wishing Lyle all the best. I wonder if the club was aware of this issue when we signed him? He's clearly doing the right thing in talking about his issues but from a commercial perspective if he doesn't settle you would think it might make any future purchasers slightly nervous.

Victorian architecture is anything but "chocolate box". It is grand and imposing. Georgian architecture isn't "chocolate box". It is neat, regimental and ordered. Tudor architecture isn't "chocolate box". It is cutting edge (circa 1500) and builds us out of the medeival period. Art Deco isn't "choc...

I can see why people like it but it's not for me. Too sentimental and twee. Trying to turn the clock back. Good post Chris. Looks like we broadly agree. One thing I'd reiterate is there is one key feature that virtually all traditional styles have in common - they have facades and "faces". A lot of modern designs miss this key feature altogether. The buildings that people like and enjoy all have beauty ...
