That’s as openly critical of his players as I’ve ever heard from Dyche, and though it’s refreshing to hear in some respects, he also needs to look at himself. It’s all very well looking at the fees and reputations attached to many of those players and saying “they should’ve done better,” but is it r...

For as long as we’re in the Premier League, in reality. If we had 30 points by Christmas, I’m convinced we’d have a do at the FA Cup. Indeed, we would have the season we finished 7th but we ended up getting drawn away at Man City. The League Cup will never ever be a priority for Dyche, in my opinio...

How is that relevant? They have it in cricket and tennis as well. They're totally different sports. Why does there need to be a “top six”? Remember, before City and Tottenham gate crashed the party, we used to talk of the “big four”.

One or two of the clubs you’ve mentioned may fall closer to the pack, but the best the rest will be fighting for will be automatic Europa qualification.

I thought it worked well yesterday on the Turf. Not many saw Adam's foul, Barnes was offside for Wood's goal, and Gudmonsson won the ball fairly . In another day without VAR those decisions might have gone the other way, particularly against a top 6 team. We might not like the decisions made by VAR...
