Mine was £415 two years ago, went up to £480 last year, which was a big jump. This year it’s going to be £525.So a £110 increase in two years.

Had a hit with The Phantom of the Opera, a duet with Sarah Brightman. I recall he was due to play the part that Michael Crawford eventually played in the West End and on Broadway. Not sure why he didn’t. Think the producers had a change of heart or something. Strange one.

A friend who worked for Capital Radio got me a tour around Egton House where Radio 1 was broadcast from in the early 90’s. Steve Wright’s show was on. I was amazed to see him in the studio on his own, there were dozens of cassettes and typed up paper all over the desk.

I was at the Fagins concert too, supported by Fad Gadget and Blacemange. I had told my mother I was going to see them in that place we don't mention. Think it was November and she grounded me as I was only 14 at the time however was allowed to go to bomi night so my grounding lasted about 20 hours ...

Saw them at Rafters Fagins nightclub in Manchester in 1981. £2.50 a ticket. Saw and met them at Brighton Dome in 1983. May I ask how much you paid for your ticket ? Glad you enjoyed it btw.

I fitted one from Screwfix about 10 years ago. Works great. I’ve had to replace a couple of cameras that went faulty but they were only £15 each.

He was my Dad’s cousin. Before the days of sat navs, I remember one rainy Sunday afternoon driving around the Bury/Radcliffe area looking for his house and my Dad stopping at various telephone boxes to get directions. My Dad said he didn’t change a bit when he won the pools.
