Re: ALK Capital or Farnell/Elkashashy takeover

My biggest concern is the motive for wanting to buy Burnley Fooball Club. Are they trying to make money, or is it an ego trip. If it is the former, I believe we are in the sh1t.

Re: falling out of love with football?

Like quite a few posters I'm missing the day out interrupted by football, both home and away. Leaving Burnley at the age of 4, and ending up living in Lancaster, going home or away has always been just that, a day out. I miss bumping into people I only see at the football, in the towns and cities ac...

You are right about Alan Beecroft and it was so hard watching him deteriorate as he did and he did it without losing his hardly politically correct sense of humour. Look Mr Garlick understands Footbal is on its arse.

Revenue down by probably 50%.

He needs to cash in now.

If he gets 30 million in back sack he does not give so much as a fart for the club.

He will walk away rich.

And that’s what he is going to do.
He's already rich.

I thought we moved the ball precisely and quickly in patches, although the final pass was lacking, often trying to make a pass that isn't possible.
