I decided to skip Old Trafford in favour of an overnight stay in Manchester the following week for a gig. I have to say I regret that decision. I should have gone to both and sod the cost! I did go to the Southampton game and had a brilliant weekend, but missing that Old Trafford win still rankles.

What is the media's obsession with having female pundits for men's sport? They've ruined TMS and are all over the BBC highlights programme. I can cope with watching with the sound off, but a bit of a pain turning the sound down every time they speak on TMS.

That's why Vyds got my vote. Winning goal too, and the context of his lack of game time.

Mine has to be listening to Radio 2 in Raf Aldergrove when we played Spurs in the League Cup in 1983. I was 6 months in to a 2 year tour so didnt get to many matches. We weren't the main game, so coverage only started when that game had finished. I nearly fell off my bunk when first they said Burnle...

Two simple solutions to the problem. 1. The government make it law and fine anyone not wearing a mask and fine stores and companies not enforcing it to customers. 2. We were media darlings for a short while. One must remember the media don't strive for accuracy, truth, or fairness. The beauty of sport isn't enough for them. They want drama, controversy, a backstory.
As for Sheff Utd, I think they have been brilliant this season.
