Anyone seeing any problems with anything said in that article needs to give their head a wobble. Our squad is a distance away from where it was when we came up the 2nd time. The facilities are way better. We've net spent $90M on players and we are competing on wages. We're looking at other ground im...

Just a guess but I imagine that the first charge is a "service charge" and the other charge is a "handling fee". Your presumption that they take a cut from the ticket themselves is exactly that, a presumption. Previously they didn't used to publish these charges separately, and d...

Michael Owen calls out the Toon Army

He might not be a great commentator but he puts the Toon faithful in their place in this article.

"only a big club in the sense that it has a lot of fans and a big stadium."

MK was OK, thought Fletcher was more biased during commentary. I don’t think they know they’re doing it. Towards the end “Arsenal 2, Burnley 1, goals by Aubameyang and Lacazette.” No mention of Barnes, should just be glad they remembered we’d scored. It’s unconscious, but it’s still bias.

There's one in Ashton in the Cinema Park near to IKEA. Been in there before a City game as it's on the tram route into the Etihad. Very good burgers and Hotdogs, but as mentioned, with fries and a drink it'll come in at just shy of £30 for 2 people.

On the other hand, you could argue that it would be a bit cheeky to ask season ticket holders who don't want to watch the friendlies, to use part of their income to subsidies those who don't. That point was made on the SKY coverage later on in the evening. It should have been 5 runs, 1 run and 4 overthrows.

However, Stokes probably would have put the last ball over the rope rather than prodding it away for a safe 1 and hoping NZ misfielded for the 2nd.
