The longer it stayed purple the more I was expecting them to say that due to technical difficulties VAR couldn't be used.

Yes he was stood there looking at the purple VAR screen for a fair while. When it showed the pitch is when everyone cheered.claptrappers_union wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2024 8:55 pmSo was the images eventually coming onto the screen the reason for the big cheer before the penalty was awarded?

Classic Champions League draw for me. Avoids an all English final. I'll be watching 3/4's of the semi final games in spain too which wont hurt  Your watching 1.5 games in Spain? Totally agree about the badge. I think it was really poor that the badge supposedly for one anniversary season has been kept ever since. The badge on these shirts simply is Burnley FC yet barely seen in the club shop. It should be back as the main badge. Probably should be on the unpopular opinion ...

I never understand why people slag off the beast for the injury he had against Wigan. He cocked up but he also fell down terribly for a big guy. He looked injured Far easier to look at the time he speared wolves Nobody is slagging him off?? It's more a humorous anecdote about a keeper coming haring...

I don't normally rate but i can't understand for the life of me how Semenyo stayed on the pitch. He got booked for pushing Brunn Larsen in the face. He then gave away a foul when he pushed Taylor over because Taylor had got the wrong side of him and was driving at the full back. As Kompany correctl...

I'm still at a loss trying to understand why he got booed. Utterly bizarre.
