Think Brownhill was £10m, so more expensive than Defour (£7m). Lowton definitely more expensive than Trippier too.

Re: Europa league question

No, only a maximum of 7 English clubs can be in European competitions in a season. If City’s place goes to someone else, European qualification would only go down as low as 8th place, no matter what happens with winners in either competition this season.

The game is a bit of a mess at the moment. The only way to be solid at the back is to change the custom tactics to ‘Drop Back’ and have the depth of your defence to 1 (the deepest possible). It makes games boring but everyone does it and if you don’t you’ll just get countered every time you lose the...

Can’t control his own body, and not sure how anyone can say his distribution was good. At one point in the second half he ran forward about 20 yards with the ball and then just passed it straight out of play under no pressure. Tarkowski is miles better.

Taylor is 100% over 6ft. The club also have Pope as 6ft 4, which isn’t correct. The club just take values off Wikipedia. 5ft 9 is about the same height as Brady. Taylor is miles taller than him.

I’m a big fan of Heaton, but we had our best ever defensive record in the Premier League with Pope in goal and that was largely down to him commanding his area so much that the defence had far less to do. Heaton is definitely the better keeper technically and pulls off more “wonder saves” than Pope,...
