Re: BFC TRANSFER NEWS Jan 2020(MUST CONTAIN LINK)

The twisted thing with Gibson is that he'll leave and then we lose Tarks or Mee to a lengthy injury. Then those same people who said that Gibson was a waste of a transfer will say we should have kept him, to cover the injury. Yet if neither gets injured, those same posters will continue to say he wa...

(unless it’s tied to a deal that allows us to sign Phillips if they don’t).
I can't imagine that being a game changer in a deal, as it's proving harder for them to get out of the top 2, even when they lose 3 games on the bounce.

Not sure where the idea people would have preferred us to win today than in the league comes from. There wasn't. There were people preferring an FA Cup final/win even if it meant us being relegated. They would have swapped the Wembley one-off final even if it meant we dropped to the Championship.

Agreed, but you also have to provide young players who are performing well, albeit at U23 level, a route into the first team. Even giving them time from the bench doesn't seem to be an option in these games. McNeil flourished as a result of injuries to others. It's a balancing act. I think overall,...
