They count how many 'possessions' a team has. So if the team has a lot of passes and a lot of successful touches they have a lot of possession. It's been mentioned before but the way possession in a game is measured can differ sometimes based on the type of game. It's not calculated by adding the total time on the ball, but instead based on touches, passes, free kicks. Headers don't count at all. I always thought it was down to who had the...

I think knocking down Towneley High School and replacing it with a pond is the best thing Burnley have ever done...
