Set Pieces

Seems our only way of scoring this season but even these are poor, other teams vary set pieces and try different things.
We do one thing in swinger to the far post.
We have to be more creative
We have to attack more
We have to play our best footballers

After reading the update it doesn't sound like the club are hopeful of a full capacity at any point throughout this season.
Grounds across Europe are starting to fill up again but we had Wembley last night with the size of it unable to have any fans at all.

I think Rigg will identify a hell of a lot of players around the UK and Europe an put those to Dyche, but Dyche has a specific type he wants an think he will refuse all of them unless its players he wants such as Stephens. Rigg probably identifies cheaper alternatives across Europe which Garlick wil...

There are a surprising lot of people who don't like or trust Dyche. For the benefit of those who don't know, the point of Crouch is to come on as a late sub when we're level or losing to give us an enormous target man who will cause mayhem in the penalty area. That's it. Anyone who thinks Dyche is ...

Barkley was given a very poor ball. But he had other options - he didn't have to give the ball to an unmarked Dutchman in front of goal. He could have hammered it out for a corner, for example. Stone's had an easy pass on to the keeper or a clearence up field, 2-1 down in extra time was it worth th...

I think the bigger problem is that he is expected to be better by now. 4 years ago we could excuse the mistakes because he was young and was going to develop. He hasn’t. The even bigger problem is that England don’t really have much better in that position. We've seen what a run of games at Burnley...

Re: Playing out from the back

To be fair, the Lingard goal was started by playing out from the back; but that time the risk of the pass was offset by the possible (and actual) benefit of playing it to a man in space. The Stones one, the risk was giving away a goal; the possible benefit was that instead of giving it to his goalk...
