Re: Press Coverage

I think the reality is that since Burnley got promoted, most of the 'headlines' related to 'time since...' 'size of budget...' have now been wiped out. People (the media) have stopped viewing the clarets as 'plucky' or punching above their weight (no more so clear than the views that the various out...

If it popped in itself it may have been a subluxation rather proper dislocation but given his job Pope may still need a good time off even without surgery. Either that or he's torn the labrum which makes it easier to put back (have done this to both shoulders). If that is the case then for mere mor...

I'm with TopClaret on this, maybe not the most original moment, but the end of the playoff final against Sheff Utd was the only time I've had wobbly legs from the adrenaline. Wasn't there in person, but also proud of the come-back victory at Ewood. It seemed like that was the defining moment (on the...

In a similar vein to the Wednesday defeat, I recall a home defeat by Watford (7-4). Also the 6-5 defeat away at Grimsby comes to mind. I do remember that 5-0 away defeat at Wycombe (my first ever away match), I think we 'only' lost 4-1 the next season and I remember thinking that if we kept 'improvi...

Frustrating so far, Colombia clearly didn't come to play and looking to turn it into a rugby match.

Which means we'll have to take more risks in the second half and they'll make a breakaway and score :(

Speaking from unfortunate personal experience, the actual dislocation is the least of the problems and is likely to keep him out indeed for maybe 12 weeks.
