The worry is Forest come down and Luton stay up.

I really fear for next season. I cannot see whatever team we salvage from this beaten and divided squad getting any higher than midtable and a back to back relegation has to be a real risk. With an apparently unsackable manager.

If one fixture was guaranteed to get Everton back to winning ways it's this one.

Likely to be amongst their easiest 3 points all season. At least we'll know we're definitely gone today even if it'll be a couple of weeks before confirmed mathematically.

I’d give him 10 games into next season, and re-evaluate. But it’s worrying that he doesn’t seem to learn/adapt. I'm fine now with writing off this season, but let's not write off next season too. Giving him the reins this summer and for a quarter of next season is a recipe for further catastrophe

The one substitution which needs making is the one I've been crying out for for months. The gaffer. My preference would be to hook HIM at half time. This season from hell though, it's nice to have 3 successive Saturday/Sundays not tainted by the stress of the Clarets playing. Granted the Luton result intruded on weekend one slightly but i was largely over it (or at least past caring now) by the time I'd breakfasted on the Saturday morning.
