Done both. Two fascinating countries. As previously mentioned, Costa Rica is expensive for Central America, but the wild life is amazing. We enjoyed the Panama Canal, but the highlight for us was a 3 day trip to the San Blas Islands. Highly recommend both countries.

Re: Lancashire League 28th May
Eric was brilliant. We won the league with him in 1986. However, he could only play one season. Fortunately, we had Steve Waugh the year after. Joe Scuderi, on the other hand, returned brilliant averages year in year out. I saw almost all Joe's runs for Nelson and a few for Lancs too. Anyone who dou...

I was there last year. A beautiful country. Anywhere on the Bay of KOTOR is beautiful. Kotor, itself, Budva too. Good bus service. We spent two weeks travelling round. Flew to Dubrovnik then buses. Herceg Nova, Sveti Stefan. Really enjoyed it.

I've had it for a long time. Had a cardioversion, which worked for 24 hours. I'm on medication to control it. The main risk is a stroke. Hence I'm on Xarelto, a blood thinner for life. If cardioversions don't work, the next step is usually an ablation. However, in my case, given my age, the cardiolo...

Re: Aldi bargain Xmas food
Tried to add the original recipe I work from as attachments, hopefully it works. Personal preference but I tend to tweak as follows: - Not use red wine, I find its plenty rich enough without. - Add corriander seeds (which I toast with the cumin seeds before grinding). - Add the dried chillis when f...

I never used to really enjoy a chilli until a friend shared their recipe. Now make it regularly using braising steak / silverside / featherblade or another slow cooker cut in chunks. Start off frying off some spicy chorizo then use the oil to soften the onion and garlic. My current recipe includes ...
