So we let him go next year to another newly-promoted club? For nothing, & lose out on £8/9m-ish for groundhog day to happen? another year on and Pope is No 1 and Heaton is another year older - hence why the club have offered 1 year extension and not 3 years - the club cannot guarantee No 1 slot...

I think Tom's best chance of continuing England honours is to stay put - for the simple reason that if he's at Burnley and keeping Pope out of the team he's a better chance of being one of the three England keepers. If Butland gets a PL move (which has been rumoured) and Pope is starting for Burnle...

I understood that it required specific angle and spacing to be safe, and that our stands don’t meet the requirements for them to be installed. I’m sure I read that on here somewhere...

I've sat in many home "ends" watching Burnley and never had a problem and I've always been open about it and enjoyed watching football with other fans from other clubs. If you go to watch the match and enjoy it there's never a problem; if you go for trouble that's what you'll find.
