Re: MIGHTY CLARETS versus Lampard's Embargo lifted

I hope we play Hendrick as an actual 5th in midfield and not a number 10 behind Wood. That's worked brilliantly for us in the past.

Dyche has announced in his press conference that Gibson is still injured, so he definitely won't be featuring for those of you who've picked him in your team.

Re: Wesley Injury

I will say it again, the booing got worse when he was being stretchered off. At that point did anyone genuinely think he was faking it? I said earlier that I completely get the frustration of feigning injury resulting in the booing etc, I don't have a single issue with that as I agree the amount of...

The point is that the booing etc was whilst he was being carried off on a stretcher, so was obviously injured and not pretending No, the point is that there was booing as soon as the lad went down. I'm not defending the booing, there's absolutely no need for it. As soon as the stretcher was called ...

Obviously not pleased the lad is genuinely hurt, but when players roll around on the floor like this - you must agree it can be difficult to be sympathetic and ofcourse feel that his injuries are genuine at the time, without replays. https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/d56jqq/two_dives_in_the_f...

How has that hand, blocking Jay's shot on goal not been given as a penalty? I appreciate it was completely accidental and he had no chance of getting his hand out of the way, but it stopped the shot on target? Genuine question, not sure of the rule.

I've always thought he's a quality player, can be a bit of a prick at times and throw himself on the floor for no reason - but aside from his obvious ability, he shows week in week out his desire and effort. I'd love us to have a player in our side with just half his attitude today.

This is men against boys, we look short of pace, effort and ability. I'm normally the first to pioneer the "We're in a league above what we deserve and should be greatful" routine, but this is just shocking. I don't think an incredible comeback and us winning 3-2 in the second half would help us for...
