Just switched the news channel on. This really is a tragedy.
Used to go to Paris a lot.
Nearly always stayed on Rue St Jacques, just round the corner. Had many street breakfasts down by the cathedral.

Shame it's not how it actually was 60 odd years ago before the locals put it back together into its current form. They don't really shout that bit out though, because it would be bad for tourism.
