Re: Taffy
This is awful news. Probably my favourite Burnley player ever. I remember travelling on a coach to a game in the early 70s, reading the magazine 'Football League Review'. There was an article on Taffy headed 'Young, Gifted and Thankfully Welsh'. It's amazing what things you remember at times like th...

Re: Is there a VAR compilation video
I saw some kind of article/analysis last week which had a league table of bad VAR decision that had gone against and for Premier League Clubs. We was about 14th with a few more going against us than for us and surprisingly some of the bigger clubs like Liverpool and Newcastle were below us. Think t...

I think you could see how referees think by Mike Dean's reaction on Sky. "It's a penalty, he felt a touch and went down, like a good striker". Since when has any 'touch' been a foul?

I've no problem with us having a new ref, they've got to start somewhere, but what a surprise that none of the 'big' clubs have to deal with them. Try them out on the smaller clubs, so nobody will bother if they make a cock up.

You've got me doubting the rule. I've had a quick look but can't find it. How is it written? It might well be that he *should* have given a penalty if so much as a toenail is in the box but the foul definitely happened outside the box. It's where the actual offence took place that matters, and that...

I thought Rowls got it pretty much spot on. Only watched on the TV but think some of the low marks given for the ref are ridiculous. Most of his decisions were right.Yes there was a push on Taylor for their goal and a push on Brownhill which, although soft, could have been a penalty. However, both o...

I don't see how they can reduce the prices, because most of the tickets have already been sold at the full price, Can you imagine the stink some people would make if they were charged more than somebody who they regarded as a 'part timer'. The club can't win if they reduce prices.
