I recall a train trip there with Selwyn back the 80s.Think we came back from 2 down to win 3-2.

It's the kit that did it now there's a full change every year. Recognise which season the kit is from then it's a matter of familiarity of who we played that season and the respective stadia.

I'm at work in today, but I'm also a volounteer flood warden. From what I'm seeing & hearing from fellow wardens and on social media, the flooding in Tod, Hebden and Mythlomroyd is bad. Not perhaps at Boxing day 2015 levels, but still at significant levels

Just trying to recall who they beat in the previous round which certainly had them 'up for't cup'. All pay on the gate,too. I remember that they beat Palace down at Selhurst Park. The Turf was absolutely rammed that day. Packed to the rafters and I seem to recall the attendance given as 36000+

It was one of a few games with huge gates (by our standards) that season. 33000+ for Man Utd and for the visit of Leeds I've seen figures of 37000+ and 40000+, not sure which is correct.

They were planning on putting one up suspended on wires like at the Warsaw stadium and at Ice Hockey games but Dyche refused as he was worried it might interfere with the way we play. Jock features in many of my memories of away trips with Selwyn back in the 80s, as does Pete Hodson, including a trip to Hartlepool with Keith Rigby where we all got in for free.

Quite a shock to think that I'm the only one left. Scandalous, as Pete would say.

This comes as as shock as I saw him about 08:15 on Thursday morning.

Finished my night shift and had an 08:20 appointment at the doctors. Jock was sat in the waiting room. As I was straight in for my appointment I didn't get chance to speak to him.

I was there in March and beers around the Market Square were 13Zl - 15Zl.
No doubt it'll vary one bar to the next.


Be aware that the rail link to the airport was closed as they are upgrading the line. There was a bus replacement service in operation but I couldn't offer any details.

i remember walking around Gay Meadow with my dad and my grandfather prior to our game there on New Year's Day 1980 and briefly meeting Gordon as he left the ticket office.

I must have gone through every emotion imaginable that night, and I don't think I've ever felt so close to my club.
Being knocked out was probably the best result for us in the end as I doubt we'd have gone on to promotion otherwise.
