Try to get out of Manhattan, even if it's just a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge - there's a great pizza place at the Brooklyn end called Grimaldi's. Prospect Park and Greenwood Cemetery are interesting. You could also get the subway down to Coney Island, ride the Cyclone and get a hotdog at Nathan...

Saw something on Twitter before kick off (which I am trying to find again) that JayRod, Bastien, Twine and Taylor were held up by the roadworks/traffic and didn't arrive at the Turf until around19:10, which was after the teams were announced

Having been a member of EnglandFans for around 20 years, the suggestion of using a similar process for away ticket allocation does seem a sound idea in principal.
