Re: Zeki Amdouni Shot Accuracy
Semantics mate. I heard someone say, for example, Trafford is the worst burnley goalkeeper since the early 90's. Some fans were ironically cheering him in recent games. Amdouni has had similar. My point is. Despite how poor their application/effort/ability is in the eyes of some of our fans..... Int...

Re: Zeki Amdouni Shot Accuracy
I haven't seen many questioning Amdouni's talent. What they do seem to question is his ability to put in a shift - a minimum requirement in the PL. Look at the City and Arsenal players. You've kinda quoted a part of what I said to give the impression I'm just saying fans are saying he hasn't talent...

Re: Zeki Amdouni Shot Accuracy
I'll be honest, the stat and the subsequent context added, does surprise me to an extent. He's definitely struggled to have an impact in games, particularly post Christmas. But he's far from alone with that. What I do find frustrating (but expected amongst any clubs fans really, considering our form...

Re: This is my worst season ever
I've followed us since 1990. To even compare the club now to the 90's is mental. We are literally light years ahead in terms of quality. My lad was born in 2013. I can half understand him feeling this is the worst season in his lifetime. But if you watched us nearly go out the football league and ce...

He's not a football man as such. What could he say that would satisfy you and his critics. Honestly what makes you come to that conclusion? Take last year out of the picture. This season alone, be it man management, tactics, in-game decisions. Nah this thread is exactly why this is such a negative place to spend time right now. It's scary that people probably generally hold Stan in higher regard as a manager. Don't get me wrong, I started watching us in the 1990's, and at times enjoyed the Stan era. But my word, times have changed, and ge...

Not being funny but people are so negative on here rather than acknowledge that was as clear as day a foul... they would rather take the opportunity to attack the team and particularly the goalkeeper. We need a bouncing Turf Moor on Saturday, hopefully get one. But the players need to respond with the same effort and application on the pitch. Yeah, but I don't know if it's just me but I'd leave the turf feeling much better if the atmosphere was great and supporters positive win, lose or draw. Gl...

I feel right now we need to fly in the face of the typical supporter approach (which is pretty much across football entirely) , and really act cohesively and get behind the team, not be really negative and overreact. Maybe I'm being idealistic and sentimental but I feel our current management approa...

Those criticising Maatsen should be made to watch a mark winstanley 'highlights' reel on a continuous loop.
Maatsen is already a very very accomplished player and with the potential he still harbours I'd be pretty surprised if he doesn't spend the bulk of his career at premier league level.

Not comparable with Coyle if he did leave. Think most burnley fans would understand that very few managers would stay at Burnley if offered the spurs job. They are a massive club. Realistically 99% of managers would make the move from Burnley to spurs.
