Aguero first season at Athletico he played 38 and scored 6 goals. Not exactly majorly good stats, he didn’t turn out so bad after that though.

Only reason I can see for letting him leave would be if Pochettino is planning to promote Walker-Peters and use him a lot more this season .

McNeil would probably take the 11 shirt that Wood has vacated, after all its generally associated with left wingers - plus that was Ryan Giggs’ number, a player whom McNeil stated as his idol (footballing terms only)

It’s a little more exciting when unknown players are linked with the club. Which makes it a tad disappointing that one of the targets it’s actually signing for Atalanta today.

Hopefully we get the deal for the right back done though if indeed he is as good as the scouts are saying

Re: Most over rated Burnley player. (EVER)

JBG is a good player. Carries the ball well which takes the team up the pitch, works hard, chips in with the odd goal, which I’m sure he’d like to do more of also. You’d do well to find a better winger than him these days for the money we paid for him.

We need someone more reliable than McCarthy, his recent injuries suggest we may end up with another on the injury table, albeit a fully fit JM would fit in no problem with us

Re: Vydra exit now inevitable?

Keane, Tarkowski, Ward, and to an extent Westwood all bided their time when joining, and they didn’t turn out to be bad servants to the club. Vydra will have a full pre-season to knuckle down and show what he’s about, including more game time in friendlies which can only be a good thing. He has , as...

Would be surprised if Joe Allen doesn’t get linked at some point . Another Stoke player worth looking at would be Etebo the Nigerian international I’ve said this quite a few times now, although we should be looking outside of Stoke if possible ;)

Regarding the player a Leeds fan I know rates him very highly, (I know they say that about everything about Leeds) however he knows his stuff and he would command a big fee I’d imagine. If Nixon is to be believed in any sort of manner then earlier in the window he did state that we were after both Adams and Rodriguez not either or, but both. Various links on twitter stating that we’ve quoted £40m to Leicester for Tarkwoski. If Maguire goes for £75-£80m I don’t see this as a large enough fee. If Maguire is worth that much then Tarky would have to go for £60-65m that’s how ridiculous it is

Step backwards if we sign Jagielka and sell Gibson. Dallas at Leeds is a Dyche type player and can play in several positions, more importantly he's probably in the right price bracket.
