Re: Subs

It's odd anyone would presume to know how someone is feeling when they have a run of bad injuries. He's a professional footballer, I've no doubt he wants to play football. Do you think he would've survived under Dyche this long without a good attitude? To have as many setbacks as Brady has, mentally...

He often backs us, even past year he had us with more (predicted) points than we actually got. This week more than most, I hope he's right. If their front three click though it's going to be difficult.

Re: today’s footy (Sunday)

West Brom and Fulham look doomed already. Can we find another team to finish above? I'm not sure this year. I think Sheffield United will struggle this year, and I'd also expect Brighton and Palace to be down there. There appears to be fewer really poor teams this time around, and the top teams are...

Out of interest, if we went down with what you're saying would be small debt, could we cope? Also, what do you consider to be a small amount of debt, that needs clarification. Re: Match thread v Magpies

I think embarrassing is pushing it (though the bench we had available for the first game was nothing short of it) But to me after 5 years of miracle-working and graft, Sean Dyche deserved backing. We saved for a rainy day, and it's pi**ing it down. We are a premier league club, and can sustain a rel...

Re: Match thread v Magpies

This is utter rubbish. Don’t be fooled thinking we played well for first 15 mins of second half, Newcastle let us. Don't be daft. It's really frustrating we conceded so early after equalising, but we were demonstrably better in the first 15 mins. Much more purpose, energy and accuracy in our passing.

Need to go JBG for Stephens for me. If we play anywhere near that bad in the second half then we can write off any chance of a point.
That has to happen, surely. I'd also consider giving McNeil a break and putting Brady on his preferred left side after 10-15 mins

If, after watching the last few games you think Bardsley is the problem I'd have a harder look at about 8 other players around him. Do I want a new right back, yes. Lowton needs to go, Bardsley is a more than capable deputy for a year or two. I think pretty much everyone's been hopeless aside from ...

Bardsley had been one of the picks of the back 4 so far this season, I know it doesn't say a lot but he's a whole lot better than your giving him credit for. He doesn't sniff the squad of any other premier league side, and he doesn't get in most championship first 11's. I think some people on here ...

We don't just need a right winger, we need a RB who isn't a 35 year old who was just about good enough for the premier league in his prime. I know he tries hard but how is this guy our first choice.

We've made some good signings in the past 6 years sure, but we've reached the unenviable position of having an ageing squad with several player's contracts expiring within 12 months. On the whole, we've been lucky with injuries too. I agree that players coming back will make a big difference, and af...

It's not as simple as sanctioning 20-30 million on new players, because there are reverse implied odds here. To be fair Harvey Barnes has been against Phil Bardsley, a player who nearly got relegated with Sunderland before Harvey was born. Not a game to measure his true potential
