Re: The objective for the rest of the season
For me it rests on forests deduction. Luton have spurs, arsenal and man City in 3 of their next 4. If forest get 6 points that puts then 2 ahead of us with them coming to the turf last game. If at a minimum we can take 6 points from our next 4 (Chelsea, wolves, Everton, Brighton) with sheff united t...

Amdouni will come good if he stays. He needs a bit more muscle on him, but I think he can score goals and he has ability on the ball.

Just saw a shot of Trafford looking despondent there, and felt pretty rotten. Whatever you think of his goalkeeping, the task he's been given is just monumental for such a young guy.

Although maybe more extreme than perhaps I'd put it, I see krbfcs point. I wish some of our supporters would reserve a bit of support and respect for Kompany given what he did last year. And for what it's worth I still think we finish above Luton.

He is very much a victim of his own success here. I venture to suggest not one fan thought when Dyche left we'd be promoted as champions the next season. The model was clear, buy young potential. I feel both deflated and excited about our squad, it's very odd. So much talent and potential, so little nous or leadership. It's the next transfer window window that's really important, can we keep our best players when we go down. With more experience and development this squad stays up easy peasy.

That's the problem with this board, it goes too far. To say he didn't look up for the fight in his cameo is fine, to say its an odd substitution is fine. He hasn't lit any fires since arriving but some of the criticism and abuse on here is way overboard.

I find it weird people don't see the ability amdouni clearly has. It's not quite coming off for him at times, but he has the potential to be a top player, both in terms of linking play and as a goalscorer. He could be a 15-20 goal striker in the premier league imo.
